Why do I believe that?

Facebook is “viral” by structure. Nothing else is viral by structure. Email can be viral if the user wants it to be. Statistics suggest that viral emails are passed around to no more than 15 people at a time, that makes it 15x viral factor. Not bad, but remember that’s for a selected email that someone has to make a decision to send it along to others.

On average each Facebook user has 130 friends, and every post is passed along to all of them (exceptions for high privacy settings). So that means Facebook is 130x viral  factor…for EVERYTHING. This structure makes business postings, promotions, sales, coupons, activities, events, and notices a lot more visible to many more people – automatically. Facebook is doing a lot of work automatically on your behalf that used to go undone. That work has a lot of value for business owners.

Facebook for personal use is mostly understood, however, Facebook for Business is not well understood or used at all.  In fact, many business owners still use their Personal Profile for business use.
